Last Friday, Sparkasse Dortmund, in cooperation with LG Olympia Dortmund, hosted an exclusive customer event on the eve of the Sparkassen Indoor Meeting. After a welcoming address by Sebastian Junker, member of the Sparkasse Dortmund Management Board, a panel discussion began, moderated by Alexandra Dersch. Yemisi Ogunleye and Oleg Zernikel, both successful athletes, gave the guests exciting insights into their careers, talked about challenges and shared their personal turning points. Both also expressed their anticipation for the upcoming Sparkassen Indoor Meeting in Dortmund.
The Sparkassen Indoor Meeting on January 18, 2025 in the Helmut-Körnig-Halle promises athletics at the highest level. With the two Olympic champions Yemisi Ogunleye (shot put, MTG Mannheim) and Malaika Mihambo (long jump, LG Kurpfalz), the event, which is once again part of the World Indoor Tour of the World Athletics Association (Bronze Label), has signed up two absolute world stars. No wonder that advance sales are better than ever.
BVB and its BVB BusinessNetwork and LG Olympia Dortmund, an association of ten Dortmund sports clubs, have agreed on a cooperation. Among other things, this includes a gold partnership with the Sparkassen Indoor Meeting. The international indoor athletics meeting will take place for the eighth time on January 18, 2025 in Dortmund's Helmut-Körnig-Halle next to SIGNAL IDUNA PARK and is once again part of the renowned “World Athletics Indoor Tour”. As part of the partnership, the BVB BusinessNetwork will be visible on banners and will present the men's pole vault competition.
