BVB and its BVB BusinessNetwork and LG Olympia Dortmund, an association of ten Dortmund sports clubs, have agreed on a cooperation. Among other things, this includes a gold partnership with the Sparkassen Indoor Meeting. The international indoor athletics meeting will take place for the eighth time on January 18, 2025 in Dortmund's Helmut-Körnig-Halle next to SIGNAL IDUNA PARK and is once again part of the renowned “World Athletics Indoor Tour”. As part of the partnership, the BVB BusinessNetwork will be visible on banners and will present the men's pole vault competition.

The BVB BusinessNetwork has been in existence for around two and a half years and brings together companies of all kinds. Whether traditional family businesses, start-ups or regional and national companies from all sectors - around 480 companies are already members of the Borussia Dortmund network. With LG Olympia Dortmund, a sports club is now part of the black-and-yellow network for the first time.

BVB Managing Director Carsten Cramer explains: “Until now, the BVB Business Network has brought companies together, but now we are also connecting sports and are looking forward to working with our neighbors from Strobelallee.”

Yoshi Müller, Head of Organization of the Sparkassen Indoor Meeting, adds: “The partnership with the BVB BusinessNetwork is an absolute win for us. We will be facilitating a meeting for members of the network at the next edition of the meeting.”
